NPHS Mentors
We have partnered with New Plymouth High School to provide a mentorship program at NPES!
Students attending NPHS have an opportunity to sign up to be a teacher assistant or Lil' Grim Mentor at NPES. Not only do they get to spend a class period a day with our Lil' Grims, they earn high school credit for doing so.
Our high school mentors read with students, help them with classwork and projects, and sometimes help them when they are having a hard day. The relationships built through this program have been so wonderful to see. Our teachers and students enjoy and look forward to the time they spend with their high school mentors!
We are grateful for the hours they spend with us and the smiles they put on our Lil' Grims' faces.
