I love being a part of the New Plymouth Pilgrim family!

This will be my fifth year as a Lil' Grim. As an Elementary Counselor, I understand that we all face expected and unexpected challenges. My job is to assist our students with these challenges so they can learn and enjoy life.

What is my role in our building?

- Classroom Guidance Lessons: I come to each classroom monthly to teach social-emotional skills such as feelings, communication, respect, emotional regulation, etc 

- Small Group Counseling: I meet with small groups of students who have been identified as needing a little extra support in a specific area.  

- Individual Counseling: I can meet with students short term (3 or fewer sessions) to work through problems affecting them at school.

- Collaborate with Staff/Parents: I am available to meet with our teachers and parents to help support our students and provide resources.
